About Us

Joe Hutchins is the owner of Hutch Auto Service.  His experience in the automotive industry started back in high school, where he completed Auto body vocational in the 1980s. From 1984 until 1990, Joe worked at UPS.  During his time there, he worked many jobs, mainly in container repair. While at UPS, Joe also ran an auto body shop from his home. In 1990, Joe left UPS and went to work for Toyota Motor Manufacturing in paint and offline repair. At the same time, he continued to run a fulltime body shop from home, and became ASE certified in the automotive industry.

Over the years, Joe's at-home shop grew bigger and bigger—so big, in fact, he could not handle all the work he was getting. Joe knew he had to make a decision, so in 1999 he left Toyota and began working fulltime at home and part-time doing mobile dealership work. In 2001, Joe opened Dents Dings & Colors at 185 Arnold Drive, serving Bullitt County and the surrounding area for twenty years.  Joe takes pride in having the latest technology in his shop, guaranteeing the highest quality of service and integrity available in the automotive and maintenance industry. 

Joe is taking his experience in the automotive industry and opened Hutch Auto Service in Mount Washington. With quality, integrity, trust, and most importantly our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as the pillars of the business, we look forward to serving you and your family now and long into the future.
